If I Owned Maracas | Don Narkevic
I would shake them after hours
while drinking old fashioneds.
I would play with The Jolly Boys
at the Club on Errol Flynn’s Island.
I would flick them at the moon
and the spreading valley mist.
I would rattle them over our dead
marriage to conjure one last kiss.
